Position Title: Part-Time Family Monitor
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Working Hours:

  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Connecting Families Project is a trusted organization dedicated to fostering safe and healthy family dynamics. We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supervised Visitation Monitor. This role is perfect for someone who values supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children during visitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and oversee visitation sessions between parents and children in a safe, structured environment.

  • Ensure compliance with visitation guidelines and policies established by Connecting Families Project.

  • Document visitation sessions with detailed and accurate notes, including observed behaviors or incidents.

  • Provide a supportive and neutral presence for families, encouraging positive parent-child interactions.

  • Promote appropriate behavior during visitations to create a nurturing experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially challenging situations.

  • Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity to family dynamics.

  • Experience working with families or children is preferred but not required.
